CHANNING LABORATORY NEWS November 15, 1996 - The Harvard Focus reports on the inauguration of the Channing Laboratory's new facilities at 181 Longwood Avenue, held on October 31. The Laboratory occupies 60,000 square feet of space leased from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, relocating from the building at 180 Longwood that was previously occupied by the Angell Memorial Animal Hospital. Amalie Kass, Lecturer on Medicine at Harvard Medical School and widow of the Laboratory's first Director, Dr. Edward H. Kass, gave the keynote address.
