Research Interests My research interests are focused on: (a) the social determinants of health – including macro-level determinants (e.g. income inequality, social capital), neighborhood contextual influences on health, and psychosocial predictors of cardiovascular disease (e.g. job stress, social networks/support, anxiety/depression); (b) analyses of socioeconomic and racial disparities in health; (c) prospective studies of healthy aging and quality of life; and (d) smoking and health.
