The Channing Laboratory is a multidisciplinary research division of Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Our investigation of bacteriology, chronic disease epidemiology and virology is successfully integrated through the efforts of the Director, Dr. Dennis Kasper (William Ellery Channing Professor), and the Co-Directors, Dr. Elliott Kieff (Harriet Ryan Albee Professor) and Dr. Frank Speizer (Edward H. Kass Professor).

On July 1, 2012, the CHANNING DIVISION OF NETWORK MEDICINE will be launched. This new division of the Brigham and Women's Hospital Department of Medicine will include the current Channing Laboratory Chronic Disease Epidemiology and Respiratory, Genetic, and Environmental Epidemiology Units. In addition, a new Systems Pathobiology Unit will be developed. A new web site for the CHANNING DIVISION OF NETWORK MEDICINE will be arriving in summer 2012.
